Background asset pipeline

Import Pixton’s JSON catalogue, process a controlled batch, review the results, then explicitly upload the approved SVGs, PNGs, and manifest to Cloudflare R2. Search indexing remains disabled.

Export a catalogue response

Open the required asset page in the Pixton CMS and sign in normally.
Press F12, open Network, then select Fetch/XHR.
Clear the request list and refresh the CMS page.
Find the request listed for the asset library in the table below.
Right-click that request and choose Copy → Copy response.
Paste the response into Notepad and save it with the recommended .json filename.

Important: Copy the response—not the request URL, cURL command, or headers. This is read-only and does not change CMS data.

Before updating search

Date the export folder so the batch can be traced later.
Keep the previous JSON files and three-file index backup.
Validate record counts before replacing an index.
Replace embeddings.npy, metadata.json, and config.json together.
After deployment, update that library’s date in category-updates.json.

This guide covers retrieval only. Exporting JSON does not automatically update visual search.
